Vacasa cancelled our oceanfront Rodanthe rental claiming storm damage...we were supposed to leave in 2 weeks. This was after changing our rental twice before. Any chance anyone knows of an available oceanfront rental for the week of July 16-23 for 6 adults and 3 kids...hahahah I even laughed typing that. We're really super bummed

there are still plenty of choices on vrbo and airbnb to look over not oceanfront probably but there are so many beach accesses please consider it. ALSO if you can find SOUNDFRONYT go go go! kayaks and crabbing for the kids is wonderful!!! my grown daughter actually prefers Soundfront After i made her go on a oceanfront/soundfront 1 week of each vacation as a teen. kids love crabbing.

I saw something in Manteo. theres 1 in Corolla that may take 9...its for 8...depending on a childs age. sometimes young children they dont care mind as much. dpends on the Septic. one in kitty hawk but kinda pricey for the middle of KH. Not going onto Hatteras does not mean no vacation. Remember its all an adventure. oh 1 in Avon I believe. no OF. I cant believe I met 2 families in 1 week with destroyed rentals. In my long lifetime only happened twice...one a hotel room and one an OF house damaged by SANDY.

Thanks so much everyone.. I'm going to search air bnb and VRBO for something that works for us. My mother in law is pretty set on oceanfront..she is about to spend 10 grand on a not so nice condo in OCNJ so I'm trying to persuade her otherwise. Wish us luck!

ok the price range...you can get a really nice place on the OBX for that but I do not see OF. I think the Corolla house has pool access and a beach access and a lot cheaper
