Vehicle vs Bear - I just heard this on my scanner. Rt64 and a road I am not familiar with has a Vehicle vs Bear right now. Not sure who won yet. I have never heard that on the scanner before.

I know coming down 158 a young adult bear crossed all lanes of traffic in front of us one year. He was so quick it wasn't really a danger. Bears usually win.

You do know that there are more bears in that area than in most areas of NC? I do understand that news story.

Same thing happened to us. It was very late, very dark. It moved across the beams of our headlights so quickly, we just looked at each other in shock...did you see that???!!!

I do not like that part of route 64. Roads are too narrow and idiots pass us going 85. Basnight, when he was a senator tried to make that stretch a 4 lane road so that he could make it to Raleigh faster. It never worked out.

any updates on the bear vs car?? either an accident or he wouldnt budge. I had some Texas longhorns sit in the desert road not budging. My companion told me watch.. I will shoo them off...they are going home to dinner anyway. thats all called FREE RANGE. Repeat TEXAS LONGHORN STEERS ARE HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasnt shooing them anywhere. They were bigger than the car. One time my husbands friend had a GREAT DANE that was taller then our car. They said he wont bite you hes just big. What a dog he was. I never saw a dog that big like hormones or something..
