Maybe I missed other threads discussing this, but I'm surprised that there is only 325 views. I would have thought this fire might have sparked more interest. I can tell you that the flames were impressive and the burning kayaks created some horrible smelling smoke. I have seen more discussion on this board regarding how to properly burn off grease from a propane grill.

Just glad no one was hurt.

I think perhaps some posts (like this one will prob be ;) ) were deleted as they alluded to Paws SCRAM pinging on Island.

And, yes, so very lucky - CBFD response was text book

Nah. From the pics in the news it looks like the fire started in the (likely) illegal apartment upstairs. The news said several people were living there. VERY lucky no one was hurt.
