Hello,

Looking to purchase a beach fishing cart that I can tow behind a bike. Anybody have one they really like or has held up well in the obx? Considering purchasing a Fat tire bike as well if any one has any recommendations.

The Wheeleez carts are the best there are, but they are intended to be used as a manual cart vs. a bike cart. You could perhaps augment it in some way to attach to a bike. There is also an accessory bar for adding rod holders. I use one for surf fishing and it's amazing. Using the normal green cart shown in the link, I can carry a medium sized cooler, tackle bag, cast net, towel, and rod holders. I put a bungee across the top to hold the rod holders down. I carry the rods and push the cart with my other hand. I can also put a folding camp chair on top, but prefer to sit on my cooler to save space. They are NOT cheap, but you get what you pay for. My $0.02... you'd probably be best off just getting a rack for the bike that can support an egg crate or similar strapped to it. Also add some pannier bags, etc. One of the guys I watch on YouTube uses an e-bike for surf fishing in Florida and he has it rigged for carrying a minimal amount of tackle, a rod, and no cooler. You could perhaps get a decent backpack cooler if needed.

Those are nice but I am envision something I could ride up and down the beach, vs just fishing at the spot at the beach access by my place.

Go to YouTube and search for Fishaholic. He has a lot of videos and does a lot of kayak and boat fishing, but there are e-bike videos in the mix as well. Scroll through his videos and look at the thumbnails and one might jump out. Also read the titles and if there's any "surf" fishing videos that are in Florida there's a good chance he's using the bike. Some of his older videos are set in Montauk and surrounding areas before he moved. He did not use the bike then. As a side note, the channel is really good. I watch almost every episode.
