It always seems to be a big mystery when a large item pickup is scheduled. A friend in KDH said one was scheduled this coming week. I live in KH.

I looked at all the local websites, can't find anything. Anybody have some inside info?

I thought I read somewhere that we now have to schedule a pickup when you need it done. Maybe I imagined it. Found it


On Demand Large Item Pick Up Service will stop May 20, 2023. It will resume mid-September 2023.

The Town of Kitty Hawk Public Works Department is now offering on demand large item pick up. This service has been suspended for the Summer Months. The pick up is available to all residential properties up to four times per year.
