Happy Birthday to the Marines and here's to another 247 years. A friend of mine who was a Marine died last month. In the 25 years I worked with him, he exemplified the motto, I'm proud to have called him a friend. Saw this video and thought Beach Farmer and others here would appreciate it today and tomorrow. Never forget and always keep your eyes along the skyline.

I spent '75-'77 as a Navy Lt. at Camp LeJeune straight out of Dental School. Made many good long time friends both Grunt and Squid. Best memory was 1976 Carib float to Veagus PR, followed by the 4th of July in teh NY Harbor.
Would not trade those 2 years for anything.

Plain and simple.............many many thanks for those that served. Hero is an overused term but one that absolutely applies to our Veterans!!!
