We've never experienced NYE in OBX. Where is the best place to hang? Was there a big party in Manteo last year?
I didn't go to Manteo last year, but friends of mine did. It sounded like they had a good time and there were plenty of activities for their kid. IIRC they said food was an issue because there was little or nothing available on the street and the restaurants were packed so plan accordingly. I believe they also had issues finding water. The fireworks display must have been spectacular from the waterfront because I could see them from South Nags Head and they were amazing.
