My new favorite vacuum

Took a chance an ordered a robot vacuum, should have done it a while ago. We bought a Dreametech L10s Ultra. It not only vacuums it mops also. After using it for a month I give it a 10. Setting up was pretty simple, first time out it doesn't vacuum it drives around the housing mapping it. Using the App, it breaks rooms down, you can name them, put in no go zones etc.... Scheduling is pretty easy. Having a big Golden we were really impressed how will it did on carpet and hardwood. You can really customize the cleaning from 1 to 3 passes, vacuum, vacuum and mop or just mop. I have it set to run three times a week and it takes about 2 hours to do the whole house

Roomba S9 from a USA company. We have had 2 for about 4 years. I gave the wife one for Christmas and she brought the second one a month later when she saw what it still found after she vacuumed. Hardwood, tile, carpet and rugs are no problem.

I looked at the Roomba and almost bought the S9. However it didn't have mopping so that was a deal breaker. Wish more stuff was made in the US.

Roomba's are made in China.

We used a Roomba (pre mapping version) a long time ago, but after replacing the battery twice, it just sits in the storage room now. It worked good, but just wasn't worth the upkeep.

Yup, founded by an MIT guy, but since 2000 they have been made in China. Innovation has somehow bypassed Roomba. Most of the better robot vacuums use sensors, cameras and lidar. For whatever reason Roomba does not. Time will tell how my robot holds up. I got the three year extended warranty for $49 that fully covers it including the battery
