Here a picture of a baby eagle out of its nest. Yes, we called Wildlife rescue and they decided to take it because of the proximity to the road and so many people. No, we did not get too close.

Where was this?
If on Hatteras I wonder if Lou Browning now has it.

In Corolla, the wildlife guy’s name is Jeffrey. He did a great job gently capturing the eagle. He said that he would take the eagle to a flying pen, I believe and that he expects that the eagle will be ready to fly in a few days.

Next time I talk to Lou I'll ask him. I transported an owl from Corolla down to him years ago.

Thanks Tim. I would love to know what happened to this baby. We have been watching for them for a while now. There is another baby in the nest that will probably flying soon.
