Tri villages in late October?

Haven't been down in years & always stayed in the Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo area.
Now the kids are grown & we no longer have to come in the summer. When in that area will the restaurants start closing down? If we want to come down in October will we have trouble finding places to eat in the area or will we have to go north or south for restaurants still open?

Nope, you should be (assuming no 'canes) fine, plenty of options.

Join the RWS facebook page - all kinds of info on there.

Most all restaurants will still be open in October - usually mid November there starts to be some closing but even in late November we haven't had any problems finding good meals. Of course, we are usually more in the Buxton/Hatteras area.

Even with the below lists you'd do well to check the restaurant's web page. Even then, without a phone call they might be closed on various days.

Try this:

And if you Google "Outer Banks off season restaurants" you'll get more.
