Yes, Bent, when all the right conditions come together they put on a real show.

Felt like a touch of fall in the air this morning here in Salem county.

Beautiful pool and backyard LG, but since you were wishing you were 300 miles south today..........this was the scene at Hatteras Inlet looking west toward Ocracoke Island from the end of Pole Road. The water was crystal clear, and lots of folks were collecting welks and other shells in the seemingly miles of shallow water and sand bars......come on down!

Thanks, BF
It’s a lot of work for us now that the kids are grown. Thankfully we have 2 strong grandsons who come on Saturday to help with chores.
Today they helped their Pappy wrangle lambs out of the flock, into a crate and onto the truck to be taken to be made “table ready”

My Son got the exact same treatment on the farm three weekends a month and all summer every summer of his life. Best thing for em..

Lots of poop scoop'in and hay bail'in ...

I spent many days year round on a farm when I was growing up. Nothing wrong with hard work and earning a day's pay. Farmers are pretty smart when you get to see all the different 'hats' they have to wear everyday to get the job done.
