Oh yeah, smells nice too! The cats are gathered around it and I know Peanut (our biggest trouble maker) has plans to make the summit! Trying to establish some deterrence!

I hope you figure out how to keep your kitties in check. We’ve had over the years at least two trees taken out by our little lovelies.

I finally got the tree decorated…. Only took me a week lol.

So many of my ornaments I got at the Christmas Shop in Manteo - spanning almost 50 years.
I also have (some I’ve given to one of my sons)
tin toy ornaments that I purchased 30+ years ago at the little toy/candy shop that was in the little group of stores between the Christmas Shop and the Weeping Radish. Both now long gone.

WOW! Looks fantastic! I leave the decorating to the girls except for Saint Nick at the top of the tree. If the tree decorations were left to my Son and I, it would look like two 5 year olds got into a bottle of whiskey. I could never do what you did there. The Tree is cut, trimmed, in the house , in the stand, mounted with anti-cat guy-wires from opposing angles on the banister and the stand is filled with water...My work is done here.

Once I get started I usually have to get someone to do an intervention. I just don’t know when to stop.

I’m so jealous. I gave up putting up my tree this year. My cats Buster and Jupiter are relentless about destroying my ornaments and climbing to the top. Not this year, you goobers.
