I have some great photo's I'd love to show off that I took of my daughters wedding last weekend in Florida but I don't know how to resize them. Everytime I try to email them to someone they tell me they are huge and they have to scroll to see it. I will attach an example. Can someone please tell me how to resize them so I can share? I need it to be spelled out to me in simple terms, I know my way around the computer but I don't know tech terms and I get lost easily.

Thanks for all the compliments! She made a beautiful Bride. They were married on the 1st anniversary of the day they met, on the beach where they met. This was a new camera for me so I was sort of stumbling through it, hard to remember everything in a pinch. Here are a few more shots that I really love.

The sunset was just too beautiful to waste, everyone was waiting for us at the restaurant but I couldn't stop myself!

For a new Camera, you did remarkably well in my opinion. What camera were you using?

Jen, those are very nice. I like the second one; very nice lighting.

You need some basic photo editing software (something probably came with your camera) to resize your photos. You need to just change the pixel size. The reason it works here is, Will's forum software automatically resizes them to meet the forum standard. But if the pics you upload to the forum are 600 pixels or less on the long side, it doesn't resize them. This is best, because pics usually look better if not resized after you upload them. Anyway, for emailing, etc., you want to size them somewhere between 600 and 800 pixels on the long side. It's pretty easy to do, once you get familiar with your editing software.

Thanks, I think they make a great couple. You would never guess it from how elegant they look in the pictures but they are a couple of goof-balls, you are always in for a laugh when around these two! I only wish they lived a lot closer to me, he is stationed in Newport News but at least thats really close to the Outer Banks!
The camera is a Fuji FinePix S5200. I was looking for something nice and planned on spending about $500, I got this for a steal. Just wandering through Target and figured I'd look, with no real intention of buying. This was marked down half price (last years model, I assume) and the salesman said it was the display so I could have another 10% off. I started looking at it really hard then, and decided since their displays were under glass,they had everything it came with except the box AND I could return it if I changed my mind I would try. It was actually one of the models I was interested in, that or a Canon. Anyway while the kid was ringing it up another employee walked by and said "Ya know since thats the display you can take an extra 30% off" !!!! I paid $104.00 for the camera...Let me tell you I skipped out of Target that day, I LOVE TARGET!!!
Here's another photo, this one taken inside the restaurant. I just think this is a really sweet picture, her smile is almost as big as the coconuts on the shelf behind them!

What a great deal you got on your camera and some obvious great photos so far. The one with the cake is just wonderful and I love your daughter's smile ~ talk about bliss!

I will have to check that out, I admit I never really checked out the software other than to download it to view the pictures. I never dreamed thats how I would do it, thanks for the info. There is a small bible that it came with, but I haven't looked at it other than camera functions. I will mess around with it after the weekend when I'm off for a couple days, I work opposite the rest of the world!
