Pea Island Tree

We were down there today and I was drawn to this tree and just had to take a shot of it. It had live honeysuckle growing on the southwest side. The tree appeared to have been there for a long time and been killed by the salt air/ocean overwash.

I am trying to decide if I should crop out more of the honeysuckle. It would have been a tremendous treat to have had just the tree.

I rather like the idea of the thriving honesuckle on a "dead" tree. It's a perfect example of harmony in nature.
