I tried South Beach last year. I lost about 25 lbs unfortunately and realistically it was not the kind of diet I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I now came up with my own kind of diet. No bread no eating after 5:00 pm. If I have the pang for the "snacks" I have the 100 calorie packs. I eat breakfast (about 1 cup of cereal and skim milk), lunch and a very light dinner (if I feel like it). Now that I have the diet thing down, I have changed my daily routine to include exercise.
