Our community had an ice carving festival this weekend. As an extra attraction, there was also a vegetable carving competition.

Jenny - the vegies are amazing! How did the ice carving go? It was so warm here and Logan isn't that far from Columbus.

The ice carvings were amazing. Check out my photos which hardly do them justice. The carvers were soaking wet as the ice was melting so fast. The judges had to move quickly before thin pieces of ice started snapping. I saw a "giraffe" collapse when someone slammed their car door.

The veggie carvings were done by culinary arts students from a vocational school in northern Ohio. I was really surprised at how cool they were.
