I have a question or two I hope someone can answer.

1. When is Isabel supposed to make landfall?
2. Will it be high or low tide when it hits?
3. When will they close the bridges to the mainland?

I hope everyone staying in their homes emerges from this unscathed. I know many people are praying for your safety in this stressful time.

1. Sometime Thurs. afternoon.
2. High tide up around Duck should be...oohhhh...'bout 1:30 pm....probably just about the time the eye makes landfall. Ought to make for an interesting storm surge.
3. I heard (from a friend of a friend) that Dare Co. plans to close Wright Mem. if/when winds exceed 40 mph. I'll believe it when I see it. 'Course don't believe I'll be out running around trying to get somewhere by that time.

Speaking of which....gotta go get some more beer....I'm expecting company.
