Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere on the outer banks that rents wheelchairs by the week? I know that some of the rental places have BEACH wheelchairs but I am looking for just a regular wheelchair. Also, if someone does rent this type thing, will they be open on Saturday?

We just had an incident at Va. Beach where my daughter turned her ankle and injured it and found we could "rent" a wheelchair from Kroger's with a $30 deposit and it was refunded when we returned the chair. If you have a Kroger's in your area, you might check to see if you can do the same there and return it when you get home. Can't find a better deal than that.
