I put up two new pages on my site now, showing aerial pics taken Sept. 25th after Isabel. They cover an area from Kitty Hawk pier on north to Cape Hatteras point on the south. They are pages six and seven on the site. This link goes directly to page six, one of the new ones.

As always, great photographs Kimco. What exactly is the new configeration at Cape Hatteras Point? Maybe you could post the "old" configeration next to the new to see the change. Not asking for much am I? smiley

Actually Dare County has already done that for us. Go to link below and look for button "Shoreline Migration" which take you to an applette and after zooming in enough you can see the shoreline changes since the 1800's.

I am one of the many people that loves to vacation on the Outer Banks. We discovered the Outer Banks over 20 years ago and now bring our Grandchildren.
We were there the week before Isabel. And had the unfortunate pleasure of Henri sitting off the coast. The lastest pictures you posted showed a picture of Crystall Shores in Kill Devil Hill, we were staying at ScrmshawII,right next door. We lost the steps in front of the place on Tuesday and the dune was washing away daily.I hope Isabel was kind to it because Henri was doing a number on it.
We have stayed in so many different cottages and they all were special.Makes you feel sad, that they might be gone.
Thank you for keeping us informed with pictures and updates. Here in Ohio, Isabel is old news, so it is nice to be able to read the message board and see what is going on.
