Lynn from BIBC are you out there?

Just came back from our condo last night. Have some pictures of BIBC foundation undermining. No stairs anywhere to get down to beach. You got a 5-20' drop at the edge of what is left of dunes around MP16-17 SNH

Wow. Were you able to get in your condo at all? Are you a wholly owner or 1 weeker? We're going down for the meeting on the 18th. I was hoping to get in and get a few personal belongs. I could kick myself. We just had all our upholstery redone and now it needs to be thrown out. Can't wait to get down there and hopefully get in our condo.

All the Yachtsman units are sole owners. We are the middle South end unit. We went down Friday evening and stayed there till yesterday morning. Our unit has the oceanfront interior wall sheetrock removed. It had mold growing on it. The interior unit next to us and below that had a lot more water damage. They had some side wall and ceiling and carpet damage as well. We were going back next weekend to meet some friends but decided not to since there is so much construction going on. They will be taking down wallpaper and redoing ceiling paint in our unit sometime in the next few weeks to months. Don't know time frame since we are waiting on insurance adjuster to determine what they want done. There are no stairs to beach anywhere. You can jump down 5-10' but then you can't get back up. The beach accesses have no stairs and most are piled high with the sand they removed from the road. I don't know if they are letting anyone in BIBC. There was no one at any of the buildings. The South wing building has a tarp on the roof. The Town of Nags Head had been down running people off the property. Foundation may be too unsafe for anyone to go into building to get articles out. I guess at your meeting on the 18th they will let you all know what the rebuild plan is.

This is what our pool deck looks like. You can see the dune is gone and so is most of sand under pool deck.

whoa, that's a little scary looking. We're definitely going down the 18th and staying in a hotel. Did you notice any work being done at all over there? Do you have a management company running your units, or do you go through a realtor. Could you email me at 'feist@muhlenberg.edu' I'd like to ask you a few more questions that I don't think anyone else would be interested in. Thanks
