LOL! Where are you ladies?? Hope everything is going well for you this week. It has been COLD & snowy here in Pennsylvania. Makes me want to eat warm comfort foods. But I have been a good girl, doing well and tracking away with my weight watchers plan, LOL! Hopefully the scale will be my friend at weigh ins on Wednesday.

I have been finding a lot of good recipes online that I can make in my slow cooker and then freeze in individual portions. So easy & yummy. I can't always convince my kids to eat my lighter fare, so it works out good for me to do this. Kind of like a lean cuisine option, just as easy but much tastier -)

I have really been doing good the past few days. I'm so glad. Since 011412 I have dropped 3 pounds. I can't wait to get back into the 160's then the 150's. I weighed 172 this morning 3 more pounds till the 160's don't 169 sound so much lighter than 170 lol. I discovered the skinny cow heavenly crisp candy bars for 110 calories and they are so good. Drinking 1-2 bottles of Smart Water a day with electrolytes in it and I've been walking on the treadmill everyday and counting my calories.

My eating is on track. I haven't jogged in two days. I don't plan on doing it every day so I'm trying not to get down on myself. I plan to go tomorrow- just been too cold and windy the last two days.

Moderation is a good thing. I try to go all out and work so hard that I feel like it is just too much and give up. So I figure this time if I start out a little slower with the exercising and build up to where I want to be then I will actually stick with it. I have been walking daily for two years now, but I relly need to kick up my fitness routine.

Tonight I promise to do sit ups at the commerical breaks on the evening news. It's a small thing but I need to start somewhere.

Yes, you gotta start somewhere and I think that is a great idea.

Well this am the scale says I'm within 1.2 lbs of my WW goal weight. I'm going out to dinner tonight so I will have to plan carefully. Hopefully I can keep the scale moving in the right direction. WW meeting is on Saturdays - I don't want to have to pay! Money is a real motivator for me. Hope you guys are all hanging in there.

That's awesome. I tried WW for a while and I did lose 10 lbs...but I couldn't get past that mark.
On a good note, I exercised last night again. Got my butt on the elliptical.

I agree sometimes you just have to quit looking at the scale and listen (and look at!) your body. Non scale victories are just as awesome as weight loss in my opinion.

Aewsome job losing a size!!!! Woohoo!!!

It was a great weekend for football and a bad weekend for a snack attack! I tried real hard but ate more than I should of cheese and crackers. So to the basement for a heavy weight workout and finished with a fast bike ride. I didn't weigh this morning - just afraid to see - but back on it tomorrow am. I'm moving on and will make better choices this week. I want to get back to that goal weight!

Can males join too? Whistle

I decided to join a Weight Watchers at Work program this week; had the first weigh-in and meeting yesterday. I lost about 15 pounds on my own, but reached a plateau - I'm currently at 205 pounds and according to my cardio doc and all the charts I should drop another 20 - we'll see how it goes.

I do exercise - I ride a stationery bicycle for 50 minutes six days a week.

Speaking of joining up...

I gotta trim about 20 lbs and get my energy level back, too! Looking at the Belly Melt diet... resetting my appetite clock... etc. My problem is just getting started and then, sticking with it. Last couple days, I've finally been able to eat a little yogurt for breakfast (or as close to breakfast as I can get - I haven't eaten in the mornings for almost 40 years Embaressed smiley )

OH yeah - and eating right for me and still cooking for my red meat/potatoes hubby. He says to just go on and make what I need to make to eat for me and he'll survive. But I know those giant steaks, fries, and snacks are gonna show up sooner or later. He never puts on a pound eating like that.

I've got experience with tai chi, yoga and a little pilates thrown in. Seems to work OK, as long as I'm not a couch potato otherwise... but I gotta DO it, not just know I gotta do it. Still trying to figure that part out.

Hey wackdog - we hear ya! Something that works for me is to put my dinner on a lunch size plate. Then the smaller portions don't look so small. After all science tells us that we eat with our eyes first. I'm still trying to get back to my Weight Watcher goal weight - I want to go to the meetings but don't want to pay - hopefully this week will do it.

Thanks, Gettysburg!

Yes... he's all prepared for the big game tonight, too. I'm planning on eating something well-rounded and filling (w/o excess calories) a few hours prior to the start of the game. Maybe I'll pretend I'm a cheerleader during the game and keep getting up off the couch to shake my pom-poms after every big play...

it'll burn more calories than ignoring the game, reading... until I start to snooze & miss the end of the game again!!
