Still working at it.. 10 pounds to go to my original goal.. My goal for March is 5 pounds. I am hoping to meet my 10% goal at weight watchers next meeting..

Can't believe it is already March! This is a killer month for me, lots of birthdays in our house. Lots of celebrating. But hey, I am getting better at making smarter choices and learning that a few bites of something yummy is usually enough..

86 days until my trip. Sun Island

I was at 200 on the nose this morning. Maybe if I had shaved a little closer I could have gotten under that big number! lol... Anyway, that puts me at 20 down and 30 to go.

Don't let the Steelers get you down obxnut!

It felt great dipping under that 200 mark when I did it Bluefish - I'm sure you'll do it this week - now I'm trying to make sure I stay there - my target is about 185.

Good fortune with the 10% mark sanddollars!

Just bought some exercise bands from Amazon to see if resistance training can help me get moving at a quicker pace. Time to sell the weight bench and free weights...

Let me know if you like the bands.. I did some beginner yoga the past two days and while I was doing it I was thinking there is no way this will do anything for me.. Well, I am sore today from a few of those poses, so it was definetly working my muscles more than I thought it was! Whistle
I am fine with cardio, but trying to find a good toning/strethening workout..

I haven't really started using the bands - gotta figure them out - they come with very little information and reading an exercise book on a Kindle can be a challenge - may have to break down and get the "real" book.

Yesterday was weigh-in day for me - down 2.4 pounds for the week and 8.2 in the 5 weeks since I started the Weight Watchers at Work thing... Cutting back on the wine really helped. Happy Camper so far.

Go you on the weight loss so far! Yesterday was my weigh in day too, I was down 1.6 from last week. Just under 16 total pounds lost since I joined in December. My goal this week is to hit my 10% at weigh in next Wednesday(have to lose 1.2 this week to meet it). I didn't hit it this past week, so I will try again this week, LOL!

I went for my official weigh in today and in the past 8 weeks I have lost 10 pounds and a total of 14 inches. My goal is to lose another 10 pounds in the next 8 weeks.

Great job, keep up the good work.

I am getting no where right now. I did start the 30 day shred workout(finally came in the mail yesterday) and couch to 5K this morning. I also figured what the heck and took my measurements to compare them in 30 days. Have been sick for the past three weeks and haven't really done much of anything (but eat!) so I am starting fresh today tracking my food in my tracker and working out. I am 60 days til OBX..

Congrats, Robin - I've got weigh-in tomorrow - not very optimistic thanks to my brother-in-law's birthday party - too much beer and pizza...

Good news at the weigh-in 194 pounds - I'm down 10.6 pounds in the 8 weeks since I started the Weight Watchers at work. I may have to have a celebratory glass of wine this evening...

Great job!! I had a good weigh in too, I was down 2 pounds and finally hit that 10% milestone. Just 6 more pounds to go to my original goal (that is up in the air now, I am rethinking it now, LOL!). 18.8 since I started WW in December. Rainbow

Way to go gang!

I've fallen off the truck. I got sick a few weeks ago and decided to quit the diet while trying to heal. I haven't been able to get back on it like I should. Subsequently, I haven't had the nerve to weigh either.

Gotta grow some backbone and get back on the stick. I was doing so good! Pray

I have been sick since the holidays with one thing after another. I have had a cold now for about 3 weeks (possibly allergy related with all this warm weather and trees budding here) and I can't seem to shake this awful cough. I had not worked out for two weeks, I just was too exhausted or would just cough to the point of not being able to breathe.. It stinks. Hope you start to feel better!

Thanks sanddollars.

I went ahead and stepped on the scales after I got home from work today. 198. Last time I checked was March 10th, 20 days ago and I was 199.5 - so I'm down a pound and a half. At least I'm still going the right direction! The moral of this story... it's not always so good to check your weight religiously. I'll bet I was up for awhile, but I've regrouped and started the diet routine again and even though I can only account for a half a pound a week, it's still a half a pound a week!

My goal at the beginning of the year was to lose 50 pounds in 2012. I made this announcement while getting a haircut in Buxton. Today, I'm down 22 pounds and have 9 months to lose 28. Guess I shouldn't be beating myself up so bad. Loser

Blue Fish~ losing it is usually a slow but rewarding process ( and often frustrating!). I just like to think if my scale is moving in the right direction I am ahead of the game. Can't focus on the amount you lose each week, just your progress overall. You are doing great!

I feel for ya, Sanddollar - I have the same cough. And I do think a lot of it is allergy related.

I decided to experiment with the Hormone Diet, because there is absolutely no rhyme/reason otherwise, for my strange weight fluctuations. I can fast & put on weight, I think! I'm still in the first weeks of this... have had more energy... (tho the heads been fuzzy with allergies)...and (fingers crossed) I'm starting to see a pound or two permanently go away.

Still, going slow and deliberate right now. When I think I might see a pattern happening... be back to report then.
