Welcome to September!

I lost 2 lbs this week for a Weight Watchers total of 31 and a grand total of 46.

I go to my doctor (PCP) this coming week and she hasn't seen me since I started shedding pounds. She's in for a surprise Theeth smiley

Let myself go this year. I started my diet and exercise regimen when I got back from OBX a little over two weeks ago. After vacation, I weighed in at 239.4. Last Friday I weighed in at 234.4.

I plan on weighing in every payday, which is the 1st and 15th of every month.

Well I started a pounds to lose countdown on my kitchen message center last week~ 20 pounds.. Happy to report today I weighed myself and I could change the number to 18! 2 pounds down, hoping to keep myself heading down the scale and not up and down. My kids are keeping track of it too, since they see the number up there, so I am hoping that will keep me motivated too, LOL! They will call me out if I am back tracking or not losing. Beat up

Becoming concerned with my weight loss. Down two belt holes and now at 180 from 208 on a 6'3" frame. Energy and such is better, which is a good thing. Core and road work continues.

After Memorial Day weekend, gave up the hops and yeast. Weight just keeps falling off. Part of it might be that work pace keeps me from eating breakfast and lunch, just one large dinner.

Doc says all is OK, HDLs above LDLs. Blood sugar takes peaks and valleys (hypo- to hyper-glycemic, as one would guess based on one meal a day). I recall being in my late teens at 10K calories a day, and could not put on weight. Maybe I am lucky.

Oh, well, guess we will ride this old bag of bones until the sunset meets the sunrise. In the meantime, my best wishes to all.

I did something today I've been wanting to do since June. I was going to sign up to walk a 5K in late August, but we didn't have the funds to do it. We were walking daily, but when it got stupid hot we quit walking (and started doing at-home workouts). Today I got off early, so after lunch I grabbed the dog and we went for a walk. I wasn't sure how long we were going to walk when we got to the park. I knew I was going for at least 1.5miles since that's what hubby and I were doing on a daily basis. After 2miles we were doing pretty good, so we went for the 3rd mile. The dog lagged behind me at one point around mile 2.5, but we both made it! My first 5K walk Theeth smiley Dog

I'm not looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow - a 2 week vacation on the Outer Banks with eating out every night certainly took it's toll - we'll see how much Laughing smiley .

Whatever it was - it was worth it...
