October Weight In

Its October 1 and I'm trying a new approach to dieting starting today. I've simplified it. I'm not counting calories or carbs and shouldn't starve in the process like that would ever happen lol. Hopefully I can to stick to it the rest of the week and see how it goes.

Day two for me of logging my calories and exercise. Just got home from a 5:15 Jazzercise class (60 minutes). If I am up and at a place exercising at 5:15 am, you know I wanna lose the weight, LOL! Embaressed smiley

I am just going to keep at it, one day at a time.

Everyone is doing really good. I started doing the Weight Watchers Points Plus today. I found this neat app for my phone and it was free. You scan the barcode of a food product and its gives you the points/serving. It is so neat. I have run into several people I know that have dropped alot of weight doing the points plus. Figured I would give it a try.

I love the bar code scanner app, but it's really only good for brand name food and I buy mostly generic.

Looking back through my weights on July 5 I weighed 182 and by August 18 I had lost down to 166.5 Total of 15.5 pounds lost. When I started on WW Points Plus on 101012 I weighed 168.5 this morning I'm down to 165.5 total of 16.5 pounds since July 5. The first 6 weeks I did good Big grin

We are leaving this afternoon for a week of fall fishing and will be staying in Nags Head & Colington. I'm going to try to stay on track. I have a points plus calculator on my phone and the bar code scanner and I will have internet access to check the points value to chain restaurants points values.

I want so bad to get back down in the 150's and I'm only 6.5 pounds from 159. I would like to like to lose down & maintain between 150-155 pounds. I'm trying.

I am down 1.5 this week. I took measurements at the beginning of the month and I am going to do that at the beginning of each month as well until I reach my weight/or clothing size goal. Sometimes things are slimming down and my scale isn't moving so I can't just focus on the numbers on my scale now.

...lost another pound this week and i am only eight pounds from my orginial goal of 170...i hope to get to 165 and maintain between 160-165...so far i have lost twenty-nine pounds with myfitnesspal...plus ten pounds before i started it................

Just got home and weighed in. I stuck to WW and counting points the entire week I was gone and didn't eat not one Duck Donut. I did eat pretty much anything I wanted and I counted my points and I lost weight. Since starting WW Points Plus on 101012 I'm down a total of 7 pounds.

That right there is why I do WW. I enjoy being on the program. While learning a healthier lifestyle, I learn that I can treat myself without feeling guilty.
