Bonanza?

Does anyone remember a set of cottages that use to be on the beach road in Kitty Hawk that might have been called Bonanza or something similar? They were small, stucco covered buildings in a little court of about 4. I am thinking they might be the ones that are currently named something else - and 2 or so have been painted bright colors- but I'm not quite sure.

Are you talking about the 6 cottages with an "Alley" between them that fronts the Beach Road about 3 MP? If so they are still there in a very rundown condition and have been closed for years. They got hit real hard in Hurricane Irene and Sandy. I'm not sure but it may have been closed after Isabel in 2003. Now there is a Triplex next door that was on the ground and really "beat". It was raised after serious flooding in Hurricane Isabel. It is now called Windsong (I think).

This one? We stayed across the street in 2010, like, right across. Our lil' cottage was perfect for us, but the place was in great disrepair even then. Kind of creeped me out. Sorry, pic quality is far from the best....

I was referring to the ones Kellyg's picture. Also you can see a wood sided structure to the left. This was three cottages on the ground that were destroyed in Irene that were raised a one Triplex. It also has a name, I think "Windsong". Ok Seafed are these the ones you remember.
