Hello All,

In an effort to make the site more useful, I am working on a listing of OBX businesses. You can get to it from the home page.

It is pretty pathetic right now, but it will get better as I have more time to work on it. The listings give you the opportunity to rate the business and leave feedback based on your experience.

When I complete it, I encourage everyone to leave feedback and rate the businesses you frequent in the Outer Banks. This will help others determine the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Another great addition to your site. I think the rating/feedback on the businesses will be extremely beneficial. I hope all reviews are done with candor but I trust the "less than positive" reviews will be done tastefully.

I hope the feedback on the businesses doesn't lead to trouble Will. Have you discussed this with an attorney , you know how sue happy people are theses days

how could it lead to trouble, as long as it is understood that it is the "opinion" of an unknown online poster? travelocity and many other huge sites have ratings and opinions attached to hotels, and business and they don't seem to have too much trouble.. .. i wouldn't even give it a second thought.... keep up the good work will

All Will needs is a disclaimer and he is home free. I read how many companies went after Yahoo because their stock message boards where posters call CEO's coke-heads, theives, etc and all cases were dismissed. The poster is the only one who can get in trouble but if they follow Robert's advice all would be well for them too.
