I know it's not the OBX, but I've got a serious case of DIF (Dreaded Island Fever) which is when you really, really want to go down island, but can't... you know the feeling. I'm sitting here listening to a CD of music by a friend of mine of Caribbean Trop-rock made at a wild party in Florida in April which I was privileged to attend. All I can do is look at those pics of previous trips and wish. You always want what you can't have... at least at the moment! This was taken at Cane Garden Bay on Tortola where apparently a few OBX fans had previously been.

I feel the same way most of the time, a day doesn't go by that I'm not daydreaming about the smell and sounds of the ocean!! God I miss it, 14 more years till I can retire and go when ever I want or even live there. Man this winter is going to be long and cold!! ho hummmm June 4th can't get here soon enough! :-)

I'm trying real hard to feel sorry for you Kimco, but it's 29 outside and I'm nowhere near any beach. I guess the grass is always greener... I need some mo' coffee. Talk at ya later.

Great pics, Kim. We have just finalized our plans for a 2 week trip to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and then Orlando (for the kids). And I can't wait! It will be a surprise for the kids, so I can't even start a count-down calendar!!

Maybe OBX again next fall.
