I trap and have them neutered and then release. Yep, exactly where I trapped them. I also had eleven of them adopted. I take care of the three that remain. It is a small action on my part to feed them afterwards—no mice, moles, or rats. Thanks to Feline Hope and Dr. Jay.

The people that have them neutered and release them are good citizens. Do you understand how quickly they can multiply?

Feral cats are less of a problem than the cats people let out as "indoor/outdoor" cats. Most of the free roaming cats in Dare are - or were - that. Its a byproduct of many things, worsened by the desire people have for companion animals that don't need to be fed and walked as frequently as a dog due to busy summer season schedules and the fact that having a cat partially indoors is a way renters keep landlords and maintenance persons from realizing they have a cat (no litter box).

Folks who have cats for pets that let them out would be amazed at the birds, rabbits and other small animals that the cat just kills for the joy of killing.

Funny video, thanks for sharing. The junk science video about cats starts around 2.50 minutes after the honeybee blurb. Honeybees are not indigenous to North America.

BTW, the Piping Plovers eat the mole crabs but the ghost crabs eat the baby Piping Plovers.........so some scientist are discussing removing ghost crabs from areas that Plovers nest........it's vicious out there!
