Naw, it is not beating a dead horse. It is recognizing that man can made a difference in climate change.
As a child I can remember the news of the Cuyahoga River in Ohio literally burning because of man's lack of concern of the river environment. When people realized that they could make a difference they did and look at the environmental condition of the river today.
The first step is recognition of man's influence on climate change and the next step is taking action to help control that.
Typing about it or ignoring it is the easy part, doing something about it is another matter.
