Here in Bridgewater, Penna. It is a chilly (and I use that word lightly) 30 degrees at 4pm, with a wind chill of 18. All of this with wind gusts up to 52mph. But in my house it's warm and sunny!! My daughter is home from the hospital and getting well, and I have my friends on this site to talk about OBX. Stay warm everyone!

Granny, so glad to here that your daughter is home and getting better. It is cold here in the Washington DC area too. Currently it is 45 degrees, feels like 34 degrees. Winds from the North Northwest at 38 gusting to 52 mph. Not quite as cold as where you are, but still down right cold!! We saw a snow squall when I was at lunch today around noon. The sun was shining at the same time. Strange weather!!

Here in Ohio it is currently 32 degrees with 14 MPH winds with gusts of 42 MPH. Last night we had 65 MPH gusts, I am just praying my trees have strong roots! My furnace is running and running and running, keeping us toasty warm but my bones are chilled and I can't wait to crawl into my nice warm flannel sheets later.
Glad to hear your daughter is doing better and back at home, I know how heart wrenching it is to see a loved one in pain or sick, our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Sending good vibes too you and your daughter from Kitty Hawk. I hope her recovery is a speedy one. Get her some Buzzi's pizza, that always seems to help!
