Yes. It will work. But that is not a right way. Do it like this. Take your one time meal and divide into four and drink water as much you can. It will increase your metabolism and keep you fit. Work hard but in a smart way.
Good advise. I lost 52lbs about a year and half ago eating this way and I still do. 5 small meals a day, a piece of fruit fo two of those. No more processed or fast food, no sugar or pickle juice
and 96oz of water every day. I also do Planet Fitness 4 times a week and am keeping the weight off. I'm 59 and feel better than I did at 29!
So how long did it take you to lose the 52 lbs. and what would you call a small meal, thanks.
It took a little over 5 months. I was losing 2-3lbs a week but I was at the gym every other day and doing a boot camp workout class two nights a week.
Breakfast would be one egg or 1 oz mozzarella cheese and an apple, a protein bar and piece of fruit for a mid morning snack, spinach and 4 oz cooked chicken breast salad with a vinaigrette dressing and low carb whole wheat tortilla for lunch. Another piece of fruit at 3pm and then dinner 4oz of chicken or lean meat, two veggies, a starch and dairy. That's just an example but I was eating right around 1200 calories a day plus 96 oz of water every day.
You do of course vary what protein, starch and vegetables you eat to keep from getting bored with the diet. It works if you don't cheat but old eating habits are hard to break.
I completely gave up processed and fast foods, refined sugar and empty carbs. I was taking the beginners type II diabetes med back then and now I don't need to.
