Although I did not physically take the photo of the sow and cubs, I thought I would share this pic that I retrieved from one of my trial cameras that I have set on my NY property. The photo is not remarkable nor of good composition. But what is amazing is this is the second set of brown cubs she has had.

I previously shared a photo that was taken in April 2017 of this sow with one black cub and two brown cubs. They all stayed around our property all of 2107 and I was fortunate enough get multiple photos of them as well as watch them up close numerous times during archery season.

They denned on my property 2017 into 2018 and I was able to get more trail cam photos during 2018 when they came out of hibernation. It was bitter sweet to see the sow "run-off" the cubs last spring but I was lucky enough to get a few photos of individual cubs before they set off in search of their own territory.

I am looking forward to watching these little ones grow this summer.

This is the sow's prior cubs that would have been born in the den in 2017. The photo was from 2018 before the sow ran off the three cubs.

First water Lilly bloom of the year. Oh, and a frog. The bull frogs have moved down to the creek, but there's a bunch of smaller ones around.

Timmer86, that's a nice shell... Not bad for pea island.

mdobx, that is some beautiful landscape. I'll have to make a note to visit it one day.
