I live in a small town outside of Nashville Tn and have seen 3 OBX stickers on cars.(one car had Texes plates) I have wonderd how come I dont have one. I want one sooo bad so when I'm running these people off the road trying to wave they might understand(maybe not)

I have looked at ordering one but the shipping cost was stupid for a little sticker I'll wait until June (which is exactly 200 days away!!!!)

Hey justbeachy, I think I have an extra one -- if I can find it. Send me your address at my email address and I'll send it to you. Can't let you go around without an OBX sticker. I see them all the time up here in N. Ohio, and always wave. Its' fun. Did you see that commercial for Comfort Inn, I think, with Johnny Cash singing that song,"I've been everywhere" -- they zero in on an OBX bumper sticker on the window of a van. Yeah!!

My furniture outside was in the next door neighbors yard(we each have over 2 or 3 acres)
somebody lost their pool down the street(the kind that that you set up your self, but it is a huge pool) saying all that we have seen worse as I know you have there.

Hey Jen!! Yep, it was me!!! How cool! It's such a small world. I live about a mile east of Durkee on Butternut Ridge, -- right around the corner from Cletus. You must work at the HP. You should have laid on the horn or hung out of the window or something. I am going to be looking for your OBX sticker now. What kind of car do you drive?
Hey, you guys should come to Medina for the Candlelight Walk this weekend. It's Saturday and Sunday nights this year. Had to put up the Christmas tree and decorations at the shop today, blah. Too early. We put a 5-foot sailboat in the window and strung tiny little lights on it for our window display this year -- so you can't miss ussmiley If you do come, don't forget to tell us who you are. It will be nice to meet you. I'm still flying the Outer Banks flag outside the shop but should probably put up a more seasonal one before Saturday -- nah!

How cool is that? I was right behind you in a black Grand Cherokee, I think it was Sat or Sun about 2:10. Yes I work at the HP. I thought about honking but then I thought if it wasn't you I'd get a complaint since I was in uniform (not a good thing).
The Candlelight Walk sounds nice, don't they do ice sculpting then also? I think I have heard of some of the newscasters there in the past. If we get there I will be sure to stop by. BTW, what is the fin thing on the back of your car? I was trying to figure it out while we were sitting at the traffic light.

Hey Jen. Neat! I will be on the lookout for your black Cherokee! You obviously are not a Jimmy Buffett fan -- shame on yousmiley "Fins up" is a JB expression. (Fins to the left, fins to the right). It's a magnet I put on the car when we went to the JB concert in Indianapolis in July and I never took it off. Figured I'd keep people wondering -- haha. The ice thing in Medina is the Ice Festival in Feb. which is fun too. It saves our butt during a very long dry spell in the winter. The Candlelight is where the shops are all lit up for the holidays and stay open late -- everyone usually closes at 5 in Medina just before they roll up the sidewalks. So it is different to be shopping there at night. Maybe we'll see ya this weekend. And remember, Fins Up!smiley
