Does anone remember the name of the bookstore and its owner, who was also an author of books about the Outer Banks?

Sounds like you might be thinking of Manteo Booksellers over on Roanoke Island. Chris was his sister who wrote. Hurricane Irene flooded it. There is another book store there now I believe.

Thanks very much! There is a connection between the bookstore and the book, "Ghosts of the Carolinas" by Nancy Roberts. Perhaps her brother owned the bookstore?

Chris Kidder wrote for The Coastland Times & died about a decade ago maybe? I cannot recall a book store at NH. There was a magazine stand at KDH a long time ago.
