I know Bros Sandwich Shack had offered gluten free bread (if you ask) - not sure if they still do.

I know it's a year later, but came across this post - my wife is GF (Celiac) and we had a lot of success this summer using the "Find Me Gluten-Free" app/website. Lots of great options in OBX, but most of them focused in the area of Duck/KH/KDH. Our favorite was Barefoot Bernie's, also Coastal Cravings.
