6 people will be fishing. However there may be some confusion about how an Offshore Charter works. The fishing method is primarily Trolling. Trolling is done by setting up between 6 and 10 rods in a trolling spread towing either rigged Ballyhoo baits or artificial lures. Nobody holds a rod or is assigned a specific rod. Based on a pre-arranged rotation, each of the six anglers take turns in that rotation pulling in fish. Sometimes several fish will "Strike" at once, sometimes it's one at a time. To be honest, on an exceptionally slow day each person may only touch a rod once during the trip. More often it's more productive than that. I hope that explains it.
