The only real star here is Bob B.
Okay, okay, okay...The stars were strictly a measure of how many "likes" your posts have received over the last couple of years. In other words, a merit-based system. You make a great post and a lot of people like it, you get points which eventually equate to stars. However, I realized that many members had made hundreds or even thousands of posts before the Like button was implemented. I decided to award some additional points (a one-time only event) based on the total number of posts a member has made. This meant some people got bumped up to a level where they received additional stars.Anyway, it all seems a little trivial now, but some folks were miffed that they had contributed a lot, but did so prior to the like system and had less stars than they deserved. Problem solved, I hope. And, yes... I know that a great many of you think the stars are silly and unimportant and that's fine too.Anyway, I hope you all remember that you're all stars to me. Cheers,Will
