RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

Looks like too much of a good thing. Maybe there needs to be some sort of regulation.

RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

Definitely not observing the spacing rules. The last time we went in 2015, our guide actually took pictures of other tour trucks getting way to close. If no one will actually enforce it though, it's only going to get worst.

It's a horse folks. Never saw one before?

RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

I hope more locals see and respond to your post Robert. The picture on FB is worrisome. I'm a long time tourist and took my first wild horse tour in 2017. It did not look like this at all. I saw only one other truck during our 2 hour tour.

RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

its all about the money. and what they charge each tourist for a ride, wow!!!! no offense but people are dishing out big bucks to see a few wild horses, and a not so remote beach anymore. restrictions although needed will also drive up the cost.

The other elephant in the room is the wear and tear on the area. They need to control the numbers going up there.

Like the annual Jeep Jamboree people that go up there and post videos driving up and down dunes? Thumbs down

RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

Yikes! Just yikes! What a hot mess.

RE: Carova Wild Horse Tour concerns

I've said it before, and people didn't like it. Counties are, in general, terrible about conservation and preservation. It's all about growth, tax dollars, and cash flow. Don't worry about the horses. Soon they will be in a pen, and paved roads will be installed up there. Just a matter of time.

That "event" should be put to rest.
