Does anyone remember the Outer Banker?

From 1960 to March 1962 (Ash Wednesday storm) my parents leased and ran a motel/restaurant/gift shop in Kitty Hawk called the "Outer Banker". Does anyone have any recollection of it?

I am trying to identify exactly where it was located, plus any photos or info about it. I will try to post a couple of photos.

On March 9, 1962 after the storm. Pretty sure the Outer Banker is the destroyed building.

The building in the foreground reminds me of the Saltaire Cottages next to the old Winks.

It sounds like Joomla isn't properly applying the update. Try clearing Joomla’s cache and running Extensions > Manage > Database > Fix. Also, check file permissions to ensure the update can overwrite old files. I had a similar issue updating apps on my Samsung S23 Ultra, and a manual reinstall helped.

The building does have a resemblance to Saltaire Cottages! Historic architecture carries stories, much like Sunday School lessons for kids, which pass down wisdom through generations. It’s always fascinating to see structures that evoke memories of the past. Has anyone explored similar historic sites?
