I am hearing Duck Surf rescue hauling in something with a jet ski. They are trying to get "it" to shore and they say it has a bow so it sounds like a boat? It must be good sized, anybody have eyes on this? 1pm

Best I could do was search the beach cams to no avail. ..any new intel?

I know there was a catamaran in the Worrell 1000 that was adrift near Southern Shores around noon. The crew had been rescued but the boat was adrift. It was the Recreational 8.

It was the Recreational 8. mlneenan That was my guess since I heard the Coast Guard talking to someone asking if they could see the Ocean Rescue jet ski.

Here is a little story about the boat that was pulled in. . It wouldn’t be long now. At least not for 12 of the 13. Team Recreational8 suffered a mast failure under spinnaker near Kitty Hawk, and needed to call for assistance to be towed back to shore. Disappointed, they called into the race committee that they would have to trailer the rest of the way to VA Beach.
