How are the crabs this year and what are the prices like? Heading down 9/30 through 10/14. Looking to get a couple of bushels per week. I usually get them from Billy's. Anyone have a better place? Can't wait. 14 straight days of fishing on my boat, in the surf or on the pier, wherever the best shot is that day!

Outland Seafood in Manns Harbor. It's about a 10-minute drive from the Little Bridge in Nags Head. Good selection and great customer service.

When I lived in Illinois, and worked summers in a drug store, if asked that I would point to Isle 8. Now I point to Billy's.

Two places I would recommend are Billy's and Endurance on Colington Road. I'm not a crab person so don't really know current prices. Last I heard was around $140 a Bushel at Beacon in Grandy. What about Frog Island on way in. That seems high?

It may be a bit of a drive , but two weeks ago at O'Neil's in Wanchese, #1's were $125 a bushel. We always get lunch there as well.
