1200 lights? I recommend SPF50. We gladly let the kids take any decorations they wanted. From 5 totes down to about 1.5 .

I don't have to go overboard this year, since daughter and husband will NOT be traveling to VA with four kids. Daughter is a Mrs. Claus and always added so much in my house when she came....let's get this out... let's put this up! Kind of a relief in the decorating sense, but I will miss them! She just texted that she will miss the Adams country ham smell and the wood stove smells....

Frisco decor! Tacky Jimmy Buffet tree upstairs in the study! Blue Cittah! I needed a tree topper, and found a dried up dead (haha) starfish I had found a month ago to stick up there! Voila! All done!

So many neighbors in Frisco do the dock trees, and they are so lovely to view on a dark night going all the way down to the Frisco Woods gorgeous campground. A lot of fun!

@ Bentmtn - love all of your decorating (especially the dock tree) and adore that y'all are relaxing and celebrating in Frisco. @ Stumpy - your beautiful home decorated for Christmas brings back memories of my parents old stone house in PA filled with antiques from their Antique Shop. @johnbt - of course I appreciate seeing your oyster shell tree. Son and girlfriend's tree from last year. They pick up little stuffed ornaments from places they have visited. Her influence, of course! Haha! Can't really see him thinking about that... I found them a stuffed squid to go on their tree this year. She's a 6th Gen Californian and loves the OBX. She has visited other beaches on the east coast since she's dug in now in the East, and says that Hatteras Island has the best beach culture she has ever seen.
