Hi thanks for replying. I stayed at the Olde London Inn 3 times as a child. The last was in the mid 70's when I was 10. We always had an ocean front room, but the deck or the dunes did indeed block the view. I used to enjoy playing with my cars and dinosaurs right there in the sand outside our room. I have many fond memories. I have a post card from there but I can't find it at the moment. I know it is here somewhere. My Grandparents used to go every year and the owners offered to sell it to them at one point....LOL. One odd thing that sticks in my mind was one night sitting on the deck, watching the shooting stars in the dark night sky, and my Grandfather was listening to the Phillies game (we are from the Philly area) on an old AM radio. I remember him telling me that sometimes, for whatever reason, he could pick the game up in NC, all the way from Philadelphia. How is that for reception? I used to love walking on the beach at night with a flashlight and looking for sand crabs. One day, we were sitting on the deck and my Grandfather saw a crab and threw a piece of his BLT sandwich towards it. The crab took the BLT into it's hole but eventually decided it didn't like the tomato and brought that piece back out! I sure do miss that place. If anyone has any photos they can share, I would love to see them.
