Not just on this forum, but forums in general, has anyone besides me noticed that responses to opinions, likes, dislikes etc. seem to be met with more snarky, mean & generally just not nice remarks?
Everyone can agree to disagree, but it seems that more & more, a lot seem to want to disagree in a nastier mode.

The old saying of "the more I know people, the better I like my dog" seems to be more true all the time.

Now someone can respond about they hate dogs if they want to.

All I know is that I'm sick and tired of you self-righteous, Bible belt Christians trying to tell us respectful heathens that you don't like our sarcastic remarks. Nothing messses up a friendly discussion more than you mamby pamby left wing weenies who start sniveling because someone has a different opinion, unless, of course it is a radical right wing wacko who will tolerate no differing viewpoints.
There's just too few of us middle of the road, tolerant folks who simply wish to share the truth and knowledge that we have learned from years spent in places of higher learning such as universities and barrooms. I have no time for civility, since I semi-retired I'm too busy to be civil and it also may give a false impression that you like someone. Leave that civility at home and let the nasty news roll!
