My son took this one last week. I left it untouched (just barely cropped). It was one of the bad smoke days, so it was really hazy. The fox just layed there for about 20 mins.

A field of wildflowers too! We're at 4 weeks without measurable rain here in NW Philly. The only thing growing is the clover flowers in the lawn. I agree though, it is pretty. Calling for rain Monday, so fingers crossed. We need some rain soon. Wild blackberries haven't even flowered yet. Going to be an interesting Summer.

Yes, it is now! That hive in the picture is just a smaller 5 frame hive that I baited with old drawn comb and lemongrass to attract swarms. I will move them into a larger commercial size hive in a couple of days. I have about 30 colonies at my permanent residence and some more 30 miles away at a friends orchard near Cape Charles, Va. I do not have any colonies in Hatteras.....my lot is too small and there are too many people.
