One more of the triplets. They were out when I came home for lunch. They stay close to the tree line still, so a lot of zoom lens. I still haven't seen the mommy, but my wife says she saw them suckling yesterday, so they must be OK. They are getting bigger. John

Can I join in? I don't know what they are. Closest I can come on google is "American Oystercatcher." These guys hung around so long, I finally took their picture. I think that's what they were waiting for!

Very nice Shorty Long! An update on the triplets... They are all still doing ok. It's a little weird, but we see 2 mothers taking care of the 3 of them. One day we'll see all three with one mother. The next day, one will be with a different mother and the other 2 with the original mother. Here's one of them. They are getting big! John

Shot this oddly shaped mushroom on a dead tree trunk from every possible angle....this one seemed to be the most interesting....and the most fun. I captioned it "Casper the Friendly Mushroom Ghost." I think MM would like it.
