Got caught in a bad rental, and Resort Realty had no sympathy or recourse. Worse, they tried to dismiss our complaints as being meaningless. But here's something: while they happily took our money, they said we'd have to deal with the owner if we wanted any backand that it is their "policy" not to give out the owner's name.

I love it when a company declares itself to have a "policy" and treats it like it's federal law.

Further, she said that "you can find the owner using whatever legal means, but most people don't bother getting a lawyer for small amounts of money like this". So clearly, Resort Realty deals at this level all the time, and is ready with the answers they want to give.

BTW, Casa del Sol 6 at 1803 N. Virginia Dare in Killnot the cleanest/most sanitary of properties, to say the least.

We’ve rented from Resort and had a good experience. Their houses seem a bit more expensive than some of the other agencies, but that’s not something I’ve verified. The house we stayed at was in good condition and as advertised. The agency called when the lease payment was due rather the relying on email, which was an appreciated reminder. All in all would have no qualms about recommending Resort.

8/13/16.It's currently 5:07 pm cleaning crew just showed up check in is supposed to be at 4pm except extreme conditions where items need to be fixed or more than average cleaning needs to be completed according to contract. Resort realty tells me different, they claim they TRY to have places ready by 4pm but it may be 6pm. Funny thing is resort realty office hours say they close at 5pm and contract says customer needs to call if they want to check in after 5pm. So in a nutshell don't rent from here incompetent office staff,cleaning and management. Wait for the upcoming review on the their cleaning job and property condition.
