This past July we ordered for take out a dozen oysters, fried flounder and 2 oyster sandwiches. Only 2 or 3 of the oysters were steamed opened, we called and we were told that they don't always open and they should be good. Being on vacation we did not take the chance. The oyster sandwiches were fine but the fried flounder was so fishy tasting it I could not eat it.

While on vacation I thought I would give this place a try. The prices for crabs were crazy expensive but I decided to get some since I was on vacation and wanted to treat myself. I waited at the counter ( as signed stated to do) for over ten minutes for someone to take my order. The girls working behind the counter looked my way several times but never asked if they good help me.After this long wait two older women walked in the door and had service before the the door closed behind them. Needless to say I walked out and called to speak to the owners and was told they are never at the restaurant, so I asked to speak to the manager. While waiting for the manager to get on the phone I overheard the girl who answered the phone mocking me and my complaint.I will never go back

This is a small locally owned place that really has a nice selection of seafood from the area as well as not so common seafood in the area. If you like crabs they have local as well as King, Snow, Dungeness and maybe others as well. If you want to eat a dozen blue crabs this is the place for you. The crab cake sandwich is a favorite of mine. Eat in or take out. Good folks and great food.

We picked up take out twice on our recent visit. Crab cakes and the soft shell crabs were very good, and my husband loves the oysters. I have to say the husbpuppies with that sauce they serve with them are worth the trip alone.

Delicious, fresh, local seafood 1/28/2013

I admit I was totally wrong! I thought this was just some Dirty Dick's knock-off with a silly name, until my mom took us there for oysters last December. After one bite of the she-crab soup, I was a convert. Hot, delicious, creamy, not too heavy and plenty of crab with no shells! I ate a whole bowl before the oysters arrived. As or the oysters, they were plentiful and cheap. Varied in sizes, which I like, although no slough crabs this time. Oh well.
Anyway, they are family owned and super-friendly, nice people. There was local memorabilia everywhere on the walls, and even pics of the family. Only drawback is that there's a limited kid's menu - no burger or anything like that, although they did have steamed broccoli. I don't think they have a grill, so you're pretty much eating steamed or fried. Oh! And the hush puppies! Real, not Sysco, and served with a delicious maple-butter sauce. Definitely give it a shot! Oysters are only served in-season (winter). But I may be getting some crabs for carryout this summer :)
