Definitely great place for breakfast with good service, good food, and reasonably priced. They are always busy, but once you get in they serve you quickly.

It was our last night of a wonderful vacation. Husband wanted soft shell crabs, I wanted a traditional seafood platter. Nothing seared, blackened, pan-asian, with a fruit salsa, etc.. Just some good fried seafood. I got a platter with shrimp, oysters, flounder and scallops, he got the fried soft shell dinner and we shared. It was delicious!!! Light crispy breading, not greasy, it all tasted fresh. The only complaint was our server forgot our hushpuppies. That was probably a good thing as we would never have finished our dinner.

After 10 trips to Nags Head, we've found this to be the best breakfast place. We eat here at least 3 times each visit. Service is quick in the off season (which is when we always go), food is plentiful and reasonably priced, and a free pot of coffee is available with a coupon that appears in most of the ad booklets that you can pick up at nearly every commercial establishment.

Service was fast, the coffee arrived in record time and the food was good. What else could you ask for. Of course that was in off season. In season it can get busy quick with a wait and then it's time to skip breakfast.

On the only cool, rainy day of our vacation we stopped there and got breakfast. Everything was very good including my hot chocolate with whipped cream. Service was good too. I would go back for breakfast. Haven't ever tried dinner.

We always know what we are going to get at Miller's. In addition to the food being consistently good, they service is friendly too.

Have visited Miller's twice in past couple of years. On first visit waiting to be seated, hostess made fun of my wife's name (it's similar to an adult film star) and loudly talked about it so much so that people standing around also waiting to be seated joked about it too - the guys were all checking her out. Wife was embarassed that the hostess had made a spectacle of her. Second visit our hostess (different one) was visibly irritable and nasty, had a very unfriendly air about her. I merely asked if we could have a booth and you'd have thought I'd asked for a million bucks. We got seated quickly enough, ordered our food, and when it arrived we were quite taken aback at the quality. It wasn't bad necessarily, just not what was expected. The kids' chicken tenders tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil, my crabcake sandwich tasted suspiciously like tuna with NO taste of crab whatsoever. My wife's burger was cooked to the point of char, despite being medium-well. We tried to eat but just gave up. Called the server over and let him know that his service was excellent, no complaints there. But that the experience with the hostess and the lackluster food made me want to speak with the manager. When manager came over she was pleasant and I explained about we chose Miller's due to the reviews of the place, and about how our experience that night was very disappointing. She offered to knock half the price off the bill, which I felt was fair since we did eat the food (well at least some of it), and she gave us a gift certificate for breakfast. After leaving that night, we decided not to use the certificate and instead just to write off Miller's, at least for the time being since we'd had two back-to-back disappointments. Good location, plenty of seating and the interior looks nice - just the substance wasn't there. This was in September 2009.

We go to Miller's every year. They have the best hush puppies on the Outer Banks. Everything else we've had has been good also. Servers are always very nice, too.

Sorry, but it was packed, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, and the food tasted like it had been in a box in the freezer section at Food Lion. REALLY disappointing!!!

Just visited the Millers again, glad we did! Always make our family and our children feel welcome. The kids were begging to go back and were glad that we did, they got their hushpuppies that they were waiting for since last year.

kind of disappointed with Millers Restaurant. Checked this site before we came to town and from the sounds of the reviews you would have thought they were a 5 star restaurant. not the case maybe restaurant staff has been told to pump up the message boards? my husband and i ate there for dinner not a really busy night and the food and the service seemed rushed. Jk restaurant was the best we visited while in town for the week.

THE ONLY RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN WHERE YOU GET CRISP BACON AND MY EGGS WERE PERFECT. KIDS LOVED IT TOO. WENT BACK FOR DINNER AND HAD ONE OF THE BEST STEAKS I HAVE EVER EATEN. A GREAT FIND.

just spent easter week on the outer banks, sorry to have discovered miller's at the end of our visit rather than the beginning of the week. so friendly, great seafood both nights that we were there and had breakfast on our way out of town - STUFFER!!!!!

My family & I came to the OBX for Easter this year. We had 8 of our 10 meals at Miller's Steak & Seafood and they were all great. The owners actually work in the restaurant and really make you fell welcomed. I recomend Miller's to all OBX visitors.

One of e the best breakfast meals I have ever had. So we went back for dinner and had the same experience. I recomend it to all. Jamie was as excellent server, yet the entire staff made us fell welcome.

We had breakfast there this morning. Hubby had sausage gravy biscuits w/couple of eggs & I had ham & cheese omelet w/grits & hot cakes. We enjoyed our meal & we didn't have trouble w/the service. Could be the time of year 'cause they were busy but not enough to give bad service. We'd go back.
