We have made this an annual stop. Love the water front deck and atmosphere. We have waited in a rather long line at times, but it is worth it for us. The food is good and the price is nice as well. One of my children's favorite places to dine and watch the activity on the waterfront.

not the best, got the 'bums rush' and greasy sandwiches 1/23/2013

I ordered the Ruben, it was overly greasy and chips in a bag just didn't float my boat but the scenery was excellent. We ate on the deck. While we were there, they closed around us; I went in to use the ladies and three people -in unison-said, "we're closed!" Our waiter took our food holders before we were done. The three stars came from the location and the food was ok-not horrible.

My sandwich was great. Sat on the outside deck which was wonderful. I'll definately go back!

This is one place we never miss for lunch. After touring the shops, taking in the waterfront at Poor Richard's is so relaxing. Their sandwiches cannot be beat. Soups are always pretty good too! I do know the best one we had was a turkey wrap special YUMMY! Price is right too!

We've eaten there twice, on day trips, from Nags Head.
Great she crab soup, the last time.
Very good sandwiches, both times.
Nice experience for a quick lunch.

service. The ruebens are the best! Stay away from the homemade blueplate specials though. Who ever prepares those use too of the wrong spice in my opinion. They also have a problem with consistancy. I love the tuna salad, but it is never consistant. The view is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly.

Located on the waterfront in Manteo it offers a nice sandwich and you can eat it right next to the sail boats on the Manteo waterfront. If you are shopping in downtown manteo, it is worth a visit.
